Intrasquad Meet

The intrasquad meet was a big success last night. For all you new parents, I'm sure it looked somewhat like controlled chaos. However, after you've been to a few meets things will start making a lot more sense. Although there were some swimmers who missed swims, the coaches were able to learn a lot about where their swimmers are right now. Keep in mind that the purpose of this meet was practice. We just wanted the young swimmers to have a dry run before the fist real meet. Also, when we go to an actual meet, the coaches will not have nearly as many swimmers to manage. So, we will have fewer missed swims, and things will be much more under control. Thanks to everyone who helped us out.

Coach Huckabay/Tony
Andrew Limpert's 100 IM time was 10U BB. Whay was this not noted on the posted result sheet?

The intrasquad meet was not a USA Swimming/North Texas Swimming sactioned meet. Therefore, none of the times are official, and may not be used for entry into sactioned meets. The purpose of the intrasquad was for the swimmers to get in a practice meet before the first meet in October. There were no time standards inputed into the computer during the meet set-up, therefore there the program did not recognize any "B", "BB" or "A" achievements. The swimmers have to make those times at a sactioned meet.
