B/C Champs Info

Coach Salazar is organizing a meeting for Bronze and Novice parents about the upcoming B/C Champs meet in Grapevine.

When: Thursday, July 2, 6:00 p.m.

Where: MISD Community Room (west side of football stadium)

No Practices This Saturday

MAC will not have any Saturday practices on June 27th.

Medals & Ribbons

Ribbons and medals for Gold, Junior, and Senior groups are on the table outside the coaches' office.

If you have a younger brother/sister in another group, I tried to put their awards in with yours.

Results, Meet Warm-Up, & Entries

Results for the Bronze/Novice Time Trials, LAC BB, and SMU A meets are posted on the lobby bulletin board.

Meet warm-up assignments for this weekend's TRS B/C meet are posted on the host team's site here.

If you missed the entry deadline but still want to swim in the B/C meet, here's what you'll need to know:

Late entries will be accepted up until 30 minutes before the start of each session at $9.75 per individual event. Any athlete late entering the meet must provide proof of registration and a current print out of best times from SWIMS.

You should be able to find your swimmers' official best times here.

New swimmers will enter at NT (no time).

Entries for the LAC A meet are due Monday, June 15.

Gold

High School Conditioning

Middle School Novice

Tyler Open Meet

MAC will be attending the Tyler Open Meet, June 19-21. The team was planning a travel meet to New Braunfels the following week, but that meet did not get its sanction. Therefore, we will go to the Tyler meet instead. Tyler is an open meet; which means a swimmer of any classification, C/B/BB/A, may attend. It is a long course (50 meter pool) meet so B/C swimmers should take that into account before entering. Entries are due this Thursday. I know this is short notice, but due to our change in plans this could not be avoided. BB swimmers should try to make this meet if at all possible because it will be their last opportunity to make "A" cuts before the "A" champs meet in July.
