Welcome Back

I hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday season, and is ready to get back into the swing of things. We have a full schedule of meets coming up over the next two months, culminating with all of the championship meets in February and March. That leaves only a few weeks to make sure our fitness levels are where they need to be, so make sure you're at workout as much as possible.
We are opening up our Pre-comp groups again this month after having them closed to new swimmers since October. We have almost 40 kids on the waiting list ready to start. If you know anyone that might be interested in becoming a member of MAC, now is the time to let them know.
Over Christmas our Jr./Sr. swimmers took part in the "Holiday Hammer Fest." Last week these swimmers put in over 80,000 yards of swimming in five days. Fourteen of them made it through every practice (2/day) all week long. This was quite an accomplishment. look for their picture and a description of what all they did on the website later this week.

I want to remind everyone that is competing in meets that every swimmers is to compete in a "Team Suit." These are available in the D&J Pro Shop at the natatorium. We need to look like a team when we go to meets. So if you have not purchased a team suit, please take care of that before the next meet.

Keep an eye on the blog and the website for updates on when meet information is due. Don't be left out when it's time to race!

Good luck to everyone the rest of the season. Let's Swim Fast!
